The Mental Capacity Act 2005 Champions Training Programme is unique and very effective. We developed this programme in 2015 with our partners at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Clinical Commissioning Groups.
The programme involves intensive training on the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Liberty Protection Safeguards, followed by pre-arranged, evenly spaced professional development sessions which are tailored to meet the needs of each MCA Champion.
The training and learning support components are fully evaluated, providing you with comprehensive analysis of the topics most frequently explored, the impact of the programme on MCA Champions' daily practice and the changes this brings to service delivery. Perfect for internal reporting!
We also provide learning support in many ways to meet the needs of every MCA Champion's busy schedule - in person, video-conferencing, telephone and email.
